Linenweb® RFID Systems Help US Troops Track Uniforms in Afghanistan

CHICAGO - July 23, 2018 - PRLog -- Centrex Technologies has been selected to install a RFID Uniform Management and Tracking system for DynCorp International, a major US Defense Contractor. The system has been installed into DynCorp operated laundries to support US and Coalition forces stationed in Afghanistan.

Centrex Technologies installed the Linenweb® Pro system (http://www.ctrx.com/linen-systems/linenweb-pro-system/) for full RFID Uniform Management with special customization to ensure continuity of service under stressful, intermittent conditions and with significant focus on system and data security. This system provides detailed tracking and management of uniforms and personal items for the troops and is supported by a wide suite of management reports.

Centrex Technologies staff had great pleasure in hosting the DynCorp representatives from Afghanistan for technical training in our Downtown Dubai office. This training covered system operation, data migration and system install. Centrex technical staff from the Dubai office later teamed with staff from the Centrex Technologies Development Center in Chennai India to provide remote assistance for equipment installation and commissioning. This was undertaken by the DynCorp staff upon their return to site.
