Salvage Wire introduce training for inspection and categorisation of vehicle salvage

WYMONDHAM, U.K. - July 23, 2018 - PRLog -- The latest version of the UK Salvage Code of Practice introduced the term Appropriately Qualified Person who decides into which of the four categories a particular item of salvage belongs.

An appropriately qualified person is someone who has a comprehensive technical eduction and training record, relevant to motor vehicle repair, and will determine, and be responsible for, the salvage category given specific circumstances such as type of damage i.e. impact, fire, electrical, hybrid drivetrain, water or contamination.

Salvage Wire training is specifically designed for vehicle salvage professionals and vehicle fleet professionals looking to become appropriately qualified to categorise vehicle salvage. This one day training can be delivered at delegates business address and will be touring the UK during September, October and November this year.

Following the training delegates will have the understanding to complete the Institute of Automotive Engineer Assessors on-line salvage code exam.
