FieldConnect Employee to be Inducted into Georgia Soccer Hall of Fame

IRVINE, Calif. - July 20, 2018 - PRLog -- FieldConnect, Inc., a leader in mobile workforce management, is proud to announce that one of its employees, Clint Mathis, is being inducted into the Georgia Soccer Hall of Fame this weekend.

Mathis, a sales executive at the Irvine-based software company, has been at the company for only a few months, but has embraced his current role and has already had a positive impact.

"Clint has not been here for very long, but it is apparent that he brings the same energy and determination to his role at FieldConnect as he demonstrated on the soccer field," said FieldConnect CEO, Robert Hughes. Co-workers echo Hughes' sentiment, adding that "Clint is tremendously humble, despite playing his sport at the highest levels and on the world stage."

Mathis played soccer professionally from 1998 through 2010 in various capacities. He is perhaps best known for scoring the key goal against South Korea in the 2002 World Cup, helping the US team advance to the quarterfinals that year. He started his professional career with Major League Soccer and also played for several years in Germany's Bundesliga. He distinguished himself as a standout player with several Major League Soccer teams, including the LA Galaxy, NY/NJ MetroStars, and Real Salt Lake. At Real Salt Lake, he helped take the team to an MLS Championship in 2009.

Recognizing his roots in Conyers, Georgia, Mathis will be inducted to the Georgia Soccer Hall of Fame today, July 20^th, as part of a series of events that recognize the 50^th anniversary of the organization.
