Brighton releases print edition of "God Who?" from author David Frederick
"David Frederick creates a comprehensive work revealing the core truths of God"
Synopsis: The core truths of God shared by all religious people are presented in these pages, along with a few factors that prevent our seeing that we already share those core truths with all religious people. The purpose of this book is to reveal what's been hidden from you, your loved ones, and from our troubled world far too long. There are too many bigoted barriers of opinion that divide mankind into warring factions, preventing our establishing brotherhood that can foster global peace. Indeed, it is only our bigoted barriers of opinion that trigger violence and war. Nothing else does! If we eliminate just one bigoted barrier, we move mankind a step closer to the global peace too many sacrificed their lives for in our ignorant quest to achieve harmony by the wounds of war. The oldest of those bigoted barriers, and the easiest to eliminate, is found in the varied opinions and viewpoints of "religion."
Those barriers disappear when we examine the core truths of God shared by all the major religions on our planet and look more closely at a few root causes why so many disbelieve or believe in error. We can look past our differences of opinion that interfere with our seeing God as others do and even our ability to see the God of our own religion more clearly. Bigoted differences of religious opinion battle against our shared hope for lasting global peace.
This book and its paradigm dissolve those intolerant differences.
From the talented pen of David Frederick comes a comprehensive work revealing the core truths of God," said Brighton Publishing.
David Frederick was born during World War II in a Midwest rural farming community. When he was 27, delivering a 33-foot sailboat to its new owners in St. Croix in the Virgin Islands, he was caught in a January gale, alone in 20-foot waves, fighting for 72 hours without sleep, trying to claw to windward away from the fatal rocky northern shore of the Dominican Republic. He prayed for safety and promised to read the Bible cover-to-cover if he survived. Suddenly the storm abated, and he ultimately delivered the sloop to its new owners without damage or mishap.
He kept that promise for the past half-century and read not only the Christian Bible but every religious text he could find that tells the age-old story of man and his quest to understand the ultimately unknowable power that is God in every religion.
The power of God that pacified those angry waves long ago, allowed him to live to write this book.
