New and Innovative Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for Addiction Treatment Open in Waco, Texas
As concern over rising opioid addiction rates increases, The Arbor brings a much-needed and innovative addiction treatment program to underserved Waco.
By: The Arbor Behavioral Healthcare
The program is led by Masters-level clinicians. Clients receive 10 clinical service hours per week that integrate evidence-based practices, 12-step concepts, psycho-educational sessions and experiential therapies for an approach that treats the whole person. Participants attend 4 evening group therapy sessions and one individual session per week.
Unlike many addiction treatment programs, Arbor IOP recognizes the importance of family participation in the healing process. The program includes family therapy sessions, family group nights, and a family support group, all at no added cost. After completing treatment, Alumni may participate in our free, weekly Aftercare Program.
Speaking about the new program, Executive Director, Brian Samford PhD, LMFT, LCDC said, "The Arbor is honored to serve the Waco area. We have recognized a need for some time and are delighted to bring this cutting-edge treatment option to the community."
The new facility is private and comfortable, and located in a standalone building at 213A Old Hewitt Rd. Our grand opening party is scheduled for August 7, 2018 from 1 - 5 pm. Please RSVP here.
