The winner will be announced on August 23rd as part of the International Citizen of the Year Award Dinner honoring Governor Eric J. Holcomb. Each of the three finalists will be in attendance.

The International Center created the Global Impression Award in 2018 to showcase and celebrate emerging leaders throughout the state whose work is directly impacting the globalization of Indiana.

Marsha Stone, The Center's Board Chair and Sr. Director of Commercial Enterprise with the Indianapolis Airport Authority, acknowledged the quality of all nominated.  "The Board and committee are impressed with all of the nominees, and selecting a winner was no easy task. The incredible young talent we have in Indianapolis and across the state is evident with the caliber of individuals nominated, and particularly among the three finalists."

The Global Impression Award was created in response to the growing number of young leaders advancing Indiana's global profile and appeal. Martin Baier, President and CEO of The International Center, recognizes the importance of bringing this generation of leaders to the table. "The Center has been strengthening Indiana for 45 years, bolstering the local economy and expanding the state's diplomatic interests. We need the energy, enthusiasm and support of our young leaders to help us continue to carry out our mission. And the Global Impression Award is a great way to engage!"
