Unconscious bias in business is topic for Aug. 8 NAWBO Phoenix business meeting

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - July 18, 2018 - PRLog -- How can unconscious bias hurt your business? Learn more at the Aug. 8 monthly business meeting of the Phoenix Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).
The Aug. 8 NAWBO meeting features networking, lunch and keynote presentation by Dr. Tyrone Holmes, Ed.D, with information for businesses of all sizes. It runs from 11     a .m. to 1 p.m., including Table Workshop to kick off NAWBO's 2018-19 Rise Up Program promoting diversity and inclusion. Discussion will be led by Phaedra Earhart, Rise Up Program Chair.

Dr. Holmes is a professional speaker, coach, consultant and author. He received his Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Education and Master's Degree in Counselor Education from Penn State University. Dr. Holmes received a second Master's degree in Business Management from the State University of New York before earning a perfect 4.0 G.P.A. in his Counselor Education doctoral program at Penn State. He is certified as a personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and as a Level 1 (Elite) cycling coach through USA Cycling. He is also a competitive cyclist who rides thousands of miles every year and competes in dozens of races and events.

The Aug. 8 NAWBO meeting will be held at the Gainey Ranch Golf Club (7600 E Gainey Club Dr., Scottsdale, 85258). Tickets are $43 for members and $53 for guests, and reservations can be made online at www.nawbophx.org.
