ORLANDO, Fla. - July 26, 2018 - PRLog -- Comprehensive Leadership Development – Marriott's Orlando Grande Lakes: In early 2017, the leadership of Marriott's Grand Lakes Resort in Orlando Florida began to explore how Resilient Leadership could further enhance their management development program. Jim Burns, Vice President and Managing Director and several of his colleagues began a comprehensive review of the Resilient Leadership Program. The began by reading the recently publish Resilient Leadership 2.0

After reading Resilient Leadership 2.0, Jim wrote:
"The concepts and practical strategies that are outlined in this excellent new book are becoming embedded in everything we do as individuals and as a leadership team. It's like a whole new world has opened up for us."

Now in 2018, the Grande Lakes leadership team is taking the next steps. About 60 property leaders are engaged in quarterly training classes to more thoroughly explore the concepts, methods and tools of Resilient Leadership.  As a team, they are learning how to:

"Lead with calm, clarity and conviction in the midst of anxiety provoked by increasing complexity and accelerating change. These individuals lead from strength, know how to care for themselves emotionally, spirituality and physically, and can sustain their leadership efforts over time." (Definition of Resilient Leadership)
