Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance staff members participate in "The Squirrel Run"
The road race raised money for The Angel Fund for ALS Research.
The annual fundraiser was held on June 9th at MerryMount Park in Quincy. Members of the Peak team completed either a 2.5 mile walk or a 5-mile run; participating were Shannon Delaney, Practice Manager at the Quincy/Hanover locations of Peak; Meghan Harrington, DPT, Quincy Manager; Kim Shnider, Quincy Office Manager; and Ashley Joyce, Billing Manager.
The Angel Fund for ALS Research (Angel Fund, Inc.) is an independent non-profit charity dedicated to supporting ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) investigations at the Cecil B. Day Laboratory for Neuromuscular Research at UMass Medical Center in Worcester, MA.
"The amount of research being conducted in the fight against this devastating disease is encouraging, but much more needs to be done and that requires funding," said Eric Edelman, PT/owner of Peak Physical Therapy and Sports Performance. "The entire Peak family is proud of Shannon, Meg, Kim and Ashley for being part of this important event."
