Auto Sales Training Firm Dealer eTraining Launches Recruiting And Training Accountability Service

Dealer eTraining created a recruiting service to help auto dealer's hire and train staff properly in order to eliminate heavy turnover in the industry.

NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. - July 17, 2018 - PRLog -- It is no secret that turnover in automobile dealerships has become beyond ridiculous. It has become a process of "churn and burn" where people get hired, get little to no training or guidance, they make no money and decide to leave for other opportunities just to earn what some people call a "steady paycheck". This is why Stan Sher of Dealer eTraining has decided to launch a recruiting, training and accountability service for car dealers. "It is time to start guiding the dealer to hiring the right people, motivating these people, training these people and holding them accountable for their jobs" said Stan Sher.

The challenge that auto dealers have is that they have to control expenses and profits. A lot of expense gets wasted when employees are turning over left and right. There are recruiting companies that are working with the same dealers every quarter or sooner to continue hiring sales professionals. "I have found that every time I hire a recruiting company to run a campaign we hire on average three to five people and after six months we are lucky if only one or two of these new hires stays with us" said a general manager of a dealer group.

The solution is simple. Auto dealers hire Dealer eTraining to create and run a campaign to recruit and hire automotive sales and business development professionals. Dealer eTraining does a thorough preliminary phone interview and screening process. If the candidates pass this process their resume and an evaluation report gets sent to the dealer management team and an interview appointment is setup. The management team is coached on what to look for when interviewing these candidates. Once the team gets hired the full onsite training begins. Dealer eTraining will provide a three day training for business development (BDC), automotive Internet sales and showroom sales process depending on which campaign is being worked on.

The difference in the process comes next. Dealer eTraining will provide training accountability after the team is hired, trained and working. The Lead eXaminer service is a reporting and coaching resource that will gauge performance of BDC reps for both lead handling and how they handle inbound calls. For automobile sales consultants there will be coaching sessions provided by video as well as follow up reports based on discussions. These services were created to help management at dealerships become more engaged and accountable for managing their people. "The problem with most managers in the industry today is that while they may have great skills with working car deals and putting up numbers many of them lack the ability to properly manage their people," said Stan Sher.

It is no surprise that back in January of 2017 Automotive News published an article discussing how employee turnover is costing dealers billions of dollars. NADA (National Automobile Dealers Association) reported that in 2016 total dealership turnover was 43% (a 3% increase from the previous year). The automobile industry can be described as an incredible opportunity because it does not require a college degree unlike most careers. A retail automobile career requires a hard work ethic, a great personality and the willingness to learn and grow. A successful executive in the industry has an ability to earn an above average income. So what is the problem? "There is a lack of mentorship, training and accountability," said Arwin Bharaj, a general sales manager that has worked with Dealer eTraining numerous times.

It is found that many talented people leave the business before getting the chance to become successful. Dealer eTraining is looking to help auto dealers recognize that change is needed and improve the process of recruiting, hiring, training and mentoring people to success. Lead eXaminer is an important and cost effective part of the process that dealers must embrace. The goal is to retain staff, increase skills and grow the bottom line.

Stan Sher has over fifteen years of automotive experience. Dealer eTraining has been successfully serving auto dealers all over the world for eight years. The website for Dealer eTraining is http://dealeretraining.com
