Target Arm was competitively selected by the US Air Force to exhibit and present at the two day event, to highlight Talon, the universal drone launch and recovery system, from virtually any moving platform or vehicle.

"This was a wonderful event for Target Arm to highlight our new Talon prototype.  Our flight tests with this first prototype have been fabulous, with Talon already being capable of launching and recovering both rotary wing and fixed wing drones at airspeeds up to 60+ mph from the back of our testbed/truck.

Even with just manual flying, we've proven that vehicles do not have to stop to conduct drone operations.  The full power of Talon to disrupt CONOPS and enable new strategies and tactics will become clear once we add autonomous operations and miniaturize the entire system in Version 2.  Our goal is to make launch and recovery hands free for the warfighters, while on the move.  The next version will most likely be mounted on a Humvee, later this year."  See Introducing Talon - Capture the Future video here: https://youtu.be/7xYbhL4RY84.



Target Arm predicts Talon will be utilized across the full spectrum of military operations, including cross-service and cross-domain, with wide adoption on virtually all moving platforms. For the commercial sector, Target Arm predicts Talon will disrupt the current package delivery supply chain and dramatically decrease times for point-to-point deliveries.

Based upon their outstanding work, NSM Engineering, from Bethel CT, will continue to support Version 2 with all engineering requirements, to include flight tests and ground vehicle operations/integration.
