The Flower Power Fest is Where You'll Find Peace of Mind and Joy at Heart

The Growing Place Garden Center in Aurora is in full bloom and they are celebrating the beauty with you! All day Saturday, July 21, the paths are open to stroll through their inspirational gardens and gather ideas for  your own yard.

The Flower Power Fest offers time to enjoy the beauty around us. See what's growing in the Veggie Patch while learning how to care for your veggie plants with staff gardener, Gail. Meander through the Learning Gardens with Landscape Designer, Mary as she shows you how to deadhead and share tips for maintaining a lush landscape.

Flowers bring smiles to our faces and bountiful harvests. Learn how to brighten up the indoors with a bouquet of blooms from your garden with Perennial Retail Manager in Aurora, Joannie. Award-winning canner, Donna, will teach you the basics of canning and pickling and give you some of her recipes to try at home. Local winemaker, Susan will help get you started making your own wine.
