NORWELL, Mass. - July 12, 2018 - PRLog -- Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, a South Shore practice specializing in unique programs that provide comprehensive treatment in orthopedic, spine and sports medicine specialties, is hosting a collection for sunscreen donations to assist Maura's Mission to provide assistance to inner-city people in need.

The collections will be held at the Peak clinics in Scituate, Norwell, Hanover and Quincy through the summer months.  Maura's Mission is a grassroots humanitarian effort that seeks to be a beacon of hope for inner-city individuals. The members of Maura's Mission bring this beacon to the streets of Boston via food, clothes, blankets and the warmth of human interaction. By providing life essentials, the mission strives to eradicate the hopelessness, helplessness, and despair often felt by individuals who are struggling with addiction, homelessness and other life-changing events.

"We encourage the community to contribute to this very local cause as the sunscreen will be delivered directly to individuals that are in need," said Eric Edelman, PT, Owner of Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance. "Maura's Mission goes directly to the streets to deliver items and compassion to individuals and we support them and thank them for their service."
