"I've seen the need for this kind of in-home care in this community, even with my own patients. I've had patients who need care and who have cancelled appointments because they don't have family to help with care or transportation to get to my office. When they'd tell me that they didn't know who to turn to or where to find help, it really hit home. I'd been in their shoes – first with my dad and, to a lesser extent, my sister. They both needed different levels of assistance and I realized that navigating the options can be extremely challenging,"
