Follow on Google News | TriBridge Residential Resubmits Plans for 500 Atlantic with No VariancesBy: TriBridge Residential Formerly the site of K-Mart, the property at 500 Atlantic has been only 45 percent occupied since 2016. TriBridge is asking for a special exception from the City of Neptune Beach to transform the site into a vibrant mix of residential and commercial spaces. There will also be a multi-purpose trail connecting to nearby Jarboe Park and the Beaches Branch Library and enhanced pedestrian connection to the adjacent Beaches Town Center and the larger community. "Throughout our planning process, we have listened carefully to resident concerns and have factored those issues that the Neptune Beach community feels most strongly about into our design," said TriBridge Residential Principal Katherine Mosley. "These revised plans – which no longer request any variances and which include all residential above commercial space and a parking garage that will be available to the public – show our commitment to enhancing the Beaches with a walkable development where residents and visitors can live, work and play." The plans for 500 Atlantic will be presented at the Community Development Board meeting on Wednesday, July 18 at 6 p.m. at Fletcher High School.
