Small Business Class Starts July 23rd in Cape Coral
Goodwill's MicroEnterprise Institute is accepting applications
The MicroEnterprise Institute is a six-week training program to help emerging entrepreneurs start new ventures and grow small businesses. Graduates complete a feasibility plan and management training course, working with mentors who are successful businesspeople.
Classes will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., on Monday and Thursday evenings at the Public Works building on 815 Nicholas Pkwy East, Cape Coral, FL 33990.
MicroEnterprise participants will hear from subject matter experts in the areas of accounting, legal, marketing, insurance and funding, according to Sandra Plazas, Goodwill's Community Education Manager. More than 686 entrepreneurs have graduated from the Goodwill SWFL MicroEnterprise Institute, and many have successfully started their own businesses.
"This program cleared my vision about business, gave me the tools to be brave enough to move forward, and made sure that I know what I need to know to proceed with caution. I can't thank this entire group enough," said Mary Ellen Bonelli, a recent graduate.
