Help Earth to launch Here to Serve an initiative to sign up and train Ambassadors
By: HelpEarth Foundation, Inc.
As a long time Social Media Emergency Management SMEM partner with the Digital Humanitarian Network, Tech@State, Random Hacks of Kindness and Crisis Free Agents going back to the Boxer Day Tsunami in 2004 HEF has worked on the front line of some our century's greatest disasters and being situated in the Nation's Capitol city we've also seen how technology hasn't made its way to too many communities in places like the District; As, HEF has made a concerted effort to help launching AnacostiaTownCenter.net and it's listserv in 2004 HEF believes the best way to help more communities is to train others on how to do this themselves and know via our ambassadorships that together we can grow our Connect to Your Community Online mission.
Help Earth feels that with a growing need for crisis responders or just those seeking to give back in their community will benefit by tapping into our Here to Serve program and become part of the solution. If you share our mission and want to participate in activities and endeavours please take a moment to fill out this form https://goo.gl/
Created with a mission to leverage artistic content to support charitable efforts at the micro level – small to midsized nonprofits and larger organizations that are working hard to make a difference in communities across the United States and the world. The foundation's causes are picked by HEF partners or by our associated artists. HEF is the outgrowth of Tsunami BandAide, which was established to raise funds in support of the Boxer Day Tsunami relief effort in 2004. The work in bringing together entertainers and the NGO community to support that cause led to the launch of the Help Earth Foundation. Today, as a nonprofit committed to helping the earth and those that inhabit it, HEF seeks opportunities to support long-term, as well as emergency initiatives. Visit http://helpearthfoundation.org/
