About the Author: Terence Roberts was born in pre-Independent British Guiana and moved to Toronto with his parents in 1969. Having already won his country's prize for fiction in 1968, he appeared in "Impulse: Contemporary Canadian Writers" in 1972. His career as a contemporary painter also took off in the 1970s, winning him Canada Council Awards in the 1980s, and foreign exhibitions under diplomatic missions in later years. From 2000 to 2013, he was the virtual lead columnist on cinema, art, and literature for The Guyana Chronicle. His first book "Homage" appeared in 2015. He has lived in Rome, Turin, Milan, Madrid, New York, Montreal, Toronto, Caracas, Mexico City, Monte Carlo, and Menton.
