GAI Consultants Welcomes Dajin (David) Liu, PhD, PE, SE

ORLANDO, Fla. - June 28, 2018 - PRLog -- Dajin (David) Liu, PhD, PE, SE joins GAI Consultants' (GAI) growing southeast Structures Group as Senior Civil Technical Manager. With more than 25 years of experience in structural design and analysis, Dr. Liu will serve new and existing clients from GAI's Orlando office on projects like the Florida's Turnpike/SR 91 I-4 Direct Connect Ramps Design-Build.

•  With offices in Orlando, Jacksonville, Palm Beach Gardens, and Tampa, GAI builds on its more than 30-year commitment to Florida through enhanced service offerings and strategic hires.
•  David's expertise includes structural design and analysis of steel I-girder, steel box girder, steel truss, prestressed concrete girder, and post-tensioned bridges; retaining walls; noise walls; and railroad bridges.
•  His portfolio includes projects in five countries, 17 U.S. states, and work on well-known long-span bridges including the Lion's Gate Bridge and Paseo Bridge.
•  Prior to joining GAI, David served as a Program Manager and Team Leader for Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) bridge inspections.
•  He is a registered professional engineer in seven states and a registered structural engineer in Illinois.
•  David has written 30 technical papers that have been published, presented, or accepted in American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) journals, ASCE periodicals, conferences, and seminars.
•  David holds a doctorate in structural engineering from Clarkson University.
