By: Mondo KANSAS CITY, Mo. - June 28, 2018 - PRLog -- It once was home to NBA and NHL teams, and it has hosted an NCAA Final Four and a Republican National Convention. Following a $39 million renovation, Hy-Vee Arena will be a state-of-the- "With state-of-the- The arena's 350-meter indoor track is a Mondo Super X 720 track. Engineered for speed and comfort, Super X 720 provides the optimal blend of energy return, comfort, safety and durability for everything from daily training to the toughest competitions. Strong vulcanized rubber provides optimum traction while a unique textured bottom layer generates a cushion of air for extreme comfort and allows swifter transitions as the foot rolls from the fifth to the first metatarsus. Green and sustainable, Super X 720 is GREENGUARD Gold-certified for better indoor air quality; bacterial, microbacterial and fungal resistant; and 100 percent recyclable. The venue is intended to be open 6 a.m. to 12 midnight, 363 days per year to leagues and individuals, and it will host tournaments and competition most weekends. The renovation is being led by Foutch Brothers, a Kansas City architecture and development firm.
