Norman Love Confections celebrates National Ice Cream Month with happy hour specials on gelato

FORT MYERS, Fla. - June 25, 2018 - PRLog -- July is National Ice Cream Month, and Norman Love Confections is offering a cool promotion for those looking for a delicious reprieve from the summer heat.

From 4 to 6 p.m. every afternoon in July, patrons will receive a Buy One, Get One 50 Percent Off deal on any size gelato purchased at one of its four chocolate salons in Southwest Florida. Additionally, patrons with children will receive a free kids' size gelato with any purchase on Fridays in July.

Gelato often is grouped into the same dessert category as ice cream, but differs in that it's denser and smoother while containing less butterfat. It's also served at a higher temperature than ice cream.

Norman Love Confections uses the finest, freshest ingredients in its handcrafted, authentic Italian gelato, which is made fresh daily.

"My first job in high school was making ice cream at a factory, and it's still one of my favorite treats, especially on a hot day," said Norman Love, founder and owner of Norman Love Confections. "Our gelato is not mass produced, though, so true artistry can be found in each dish and flavor."

Additionally, Norman Love Confections is offering a morning happy promotion in July. Customers who purchase a pastry between 8 to 9 a.m. daily at one of the chocolate salons will receive a free coffee.
