NEW YORK - June 21, 2018 - PRLog -- New York, NY—Holmeswood releases "Rockawave (Cabana Club Remix)"; an Electronic Dance Rock Freestyle reimagining of his song "Rockawave" written and recorded for his successful 2015 eponymous album "Holmeswood".  Originally, "Rockawave" highlighted an electro-pop sensibility.  The Cabana Club Remix features all new vocals with heavy metal electronic guitar riffs, techno-synth-pop layers accented with spoken narration.  The song is in tribute to and celebration of summer, beaches and specifically Rockaway Beach in Far Rockaway, Queens, NY.

"Rockawave (Cabana Club Remix)" follows Holmeswood's cover of Madonna and Mirwais Ahmadzaï's "Hollywood".  The original recording of "Rockawave" was co-written and recorded with former NYC based British music producer Jamie Muffett. "Rockawave (Cabana Club Remix)" was re-arranged and produced by Argentinian pianist / composer / producer Dario Boente (Antonio Sanchez, Ronny Jordan, Fernando Otero, Joshua Thompson, Pablo Aslan, Mark Whitfield and others); and co-produced with Eric Jayk (Sandra Bernhard's Rock Band and her off-Broadway Show, "Everything Bad, & Beautiful", Wildstreet, Astra The 22s, among others).

Christopher Wood Holmes (a.k.a. 'Holmeswood',) is an American pop-rock singer/songwriter, actor, artist, director and producer of film and music videos. His first film appearance was in director Frank Oz's 2004 remake of The Stepford Wives, starring Nicole Kidman, Glenn Close, Bette Midler and Christopher Walken. Next, he appeared in two episodes of Whoopi Goldberg's sitcom Whoopi, followed by the lead role as a zombie slayer in Film Royale's The Long Road to Gary, which premiered at the Village East Cinema in NYC as an Official Selection in the 2005 New York International Independent Film and Video Festival. After a bit part in Revolutionary Road, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in 2009, he portrayed Corporate Agent Geryon alongside veteran actor and producer Lloyd Kaufman in his second Film Royale project Polypore, released in 2013.

In 2008, he made his live stage debut as the vocal performer "Holmeswood" at the New York International Guitar Festival's "Bob Dylan Song Contest." When Holmeswood took the stage at the legendary Bitter End on Bleecker Street in NYC he brought the house down performing a pop version of Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone". From there he was selected as one of the finalists to perform at the Arts World Financial Center–Winter Garden.

Stay tuned . . . since the release of his debut album, Holmeswood has been in the studio working on remixes of the entire album being released as individual remix singles.  The remixes along with corresponding artwork are presented in the original order which is clearly the artist's auto-biographical journey and exploration; each remix and artwork relating to the others to tell his story in cinematic fashion.
