Corey Helgeson Joins CCTY Bearing

LAKE ZURICH, Ill. - June 18, 2018 - PRLog -- CCTY Bearing, a manufacturer of bearings and bearing assemblies, announces the hiring of Corey Helgeson as an engineer. Helgeson will work with sales teams designing and selecting bearings for the agricultural, material handling and construction markets.

Helgeson graduated from the University of Illinois with a major in mechanical engineering. During his college career, he secured three internships that provided insight on the importance of communication during the design process, as well as managing input from multiple sources. He also volunteered with SOAR: Student Opportunities for After-School Resources to help students in grades 2-5 with their homework and literacy.

"Corey is an asset to our team," said Evan Poulakidas, Director of North America. "As a recent graduate, he has the latest information in mechanical design along with a strong analytical background. His personal approach and natural inquisitiveness will go a long way in helping OEMs select the proper bearing for their applications."

Helgeson is an Illinois native and in his spare time enjoys playing golf and cheering for the Chicago White Sox and Bulls.
