-- The 9th Annual UK Week for the Animals celebration kicks off 30 June-8 July 2018 and is spotlighting animal organizations, welfare initiatives, sanctuaries, students, artists, educators, community leaders, decision makers and caring citizens in an exciting week of community-building activities.
The fun-filled week features pet adoption events, dog shows, salute to military and working K9s, low cost services, sanctuary open days, runs for the animals, pet food runs, animal-assisted therapy, low cost spay and neuter events, activities for horses and farm animals, opportunites to help farm animals, wildlife events, educational leafleting events, veggie and vegan activities, bird tours, garden parties, advocate events and so much more! All these activities and events will shine the spotlight on the amazing animals and compassionate people in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Organizers released a statement saying, "We expect the UK Week for the Animals to be a dynamic week again in this 9th year that will be filled with a unified spirit for the wonderful people of the United Kingdom and Ireland.
