LOS ANGELES - June 14, 2018 - PRLog -- D.P. Entertainment presents the 5thAnnual BET Experience Weekend City of Angeles Black & White After Party Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Regency West located at 3330 W. 43rdStreet in Los Angeles, CA.   Doors open at 8pm with a red carpet celebration produced by Entertainment Publicist KimiRhochelle of KRPR Media.

Known for its yearly celebration during BET Weekend, producer Darryl Pitt' production has always celebrated powerful industry hits such as Wendy Raquel Robinson (BET The Game),  Yo Yo (Rapper), Actor Brian White, Troop (R&B Group), and this year Michel'le!

"This is the year of the women and we wanted to celebrate a woman that has pressed through controversy of abuse yet triumphed to victory in song, style and class.  Michel'le was a hands down choice!"states Pitt.

Pitt is correct! Michel'le is known for Billboard to 10 hits "No More Lies"and "Something In My Heart".  Her signature childlike speaking voice is a startling contrast to her strong and soulful singing vocals. Between 2013 and 2015, Michel'le was one of six members on the TV One reality show R&B Divas: Los Angeles.

On October 15, 2016, Lifetime aired a biopic about the life of Michel'le called Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel'le. It tells the story of her abusive relationship with Dr. Dre and Suge Knight, her experiences with her label Ruthless Records, and the journey she went through to find herself.

Her character was left out of the 2015 film Straight Outta Compton  even though she played a role in N.W.A (Rap Group with Eazy E, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, MC. Ren and DJ Yella).   She was included in a notorious N.W.A diss track on Ice Cubes 1991 double platinum effort, "DeathCertificate,"  in a reference to a video the group made with the female singer.

Michel'le has forged through to not only empower herself but others.  She has spoken across the world about physical abuse and how she has learned that it is not normal.

Since then, Michel'le was cast as herself in the stage play Love Jones  the Musical.  She is in the process of writing a tell all book and releasing a new album.
