TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - June 14, 2018 - PRLog -- Michael Dobson, Founder and President of Florida Renewable Energy Producers Association (FREPA) will be a featured panelist at the Southeast Renewable Energy Summit  in Atlanta Georgia held on November 7-9, 2018 .

As President of FREPA "The Voice Of Renewable Energy In Florida" which he and a partner founded in 2007, and as a longtime governmental relations professional, Michael is a  renewable energy policy expert and advocate. Michael has led the discussion in Florida on the subject of expanding renewable energy with his continued push for Florida to commit to a Renewable Energy portfolio Standard (RPS); and has been an early supporter of new technologies that allow for cleaner production of biomass energy and other forms of waste to energy technologies, taking advantage of the regional availability of feed stock for such energy production. Additionally, Michael has long urged government leaders to see ways to make it more likely that an American born solar panel manufacture could be profitable in a global market that advantages other countries.

Michael have also worked with universities and innovators…advocating  for the funding of  projects to advance wave energy technology and off shore wind turbines. Please visit http://www.floridaenergyproducers.org.
