ALIST Launches "$5 For 30 Meals" Campaign To End Hunger In South Florida
ALIST's launch party will take place at The Wynwood Yard, located in the Wynwood Arts District, from 3:00-7:00 P.M. There will be food trucks, music and giveaway prizes. Proceeds from the event will benefit Feeding South Florida and the estimated 710,370 people, including 248,080 children in the South Florida area who struggle with food insecurity at some point during the year.
Feeding America is the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief organization, comprised of 200 food banks throughout the United States. Feeding South Florida is the sole Feeding America food bank serving Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties, serving 25% of Florida's food insecure population.
Simple Vodka, an award winning, potato vodka on a mission to fight hunger in America, is also collaborating with ALIST on their launch party to help fight hunger in Miami.
"We love teaming up with brands and people that make social impact cool and ALIST is exactly that," said Danny Lafuente, CEO and Co-founder of Simple Vodka. "So when they asked if we'd collaborate with them on bringing awareness to hunger in America, it was a no brainer!"
