Africa's First Online Women's News Media Commence Operations in Lagos

 
YABA, Nigeria - June 13, 2018 - PRLog -- Araba Online, Africa's first women's news media has commenced operations in Lagos State, Nigeria.

The mission of Araba (https://araba.com.ng) is to inspire, empower and educate African women all over the world.

The Founder of the website, Jumoke Adekanye while explaining the objectives of the website said "Every single day, African women all over the world deal with the demands of family, home, work, business, school and life. This is why we created Araba for the elegantly confident African woman willing to take the plunge and thrive in every facet of her life.

"Key areas of content on the website will include entrepreneurship, career, education, women's representation in politics, beauty and fashion, sex and relationships, food, health and environment.

"Once in a while, we will also sell products for the urban trendy woman.

'We will also interview inspiring women doing extraordinary things in their communities.

"Our content is a mixture of created and curated information written by mostly women for women  from a woman's perspective."

Araba was launched in 2016, however didn't fully kickstart start operations till 2018.
