"We get families, parents, grandparents, kids, teens... several generations coming to catch the groove." Explained GroovaLottos drummer, Eddie Ray Johnson. "We've always been a family oriented band. Our original bass player was the son of our co-founder, James Wolf," continued Johnson, "Mwalim's son, The ZYG 808 started out as my drum student and now he's not only in the band but launching his solo project. But at The GroovaLottos shows we love it when its' a family performing for families." "It's important to share music and musical heritage wit your kids," said GroovaLottos keyboardist, Mwalim, "the music that we experience and expose our children too helps to shape a stronger family dynamic. ZYG and I listen to each others music all of the time, especially on the road."
