Holly's lifetime love and support of music is well documented. As a CNN anchor and correspondent Holly travels the country enjoying culture and music from different cities and sharing them with the world.
"A couple of Holly's greatest loves are travel and music, and what better way to expose Carolina music than someone with an international platform and a genuine love for people and music", states Omar McCallop, Carolina Music Awards Founder.
Holly is no stranger to the silver screen with appearances in a number of movies and her latest appearance in the CW's hit television show, "Black Lightning".
Voting is now open for this year's awards - Votes can be cast for nominees right now at www.CarolinaMusicAwards.com until July 6th. Events leading up to the awards show will begin taking place in early August.
