Let's be honest, very few of us ever read it, but it is estimated that every household uses about 20 electronic devices on average. Luckily, Materico is taking up the task to find a solution. The founders of this company represent various industries and were united by a common goal: to help the environment and create a way to modernize the process of electronic device ownership registration and management. The company defines itself as "The future is easy." "We noticed that we lack convenience and safety in our everyday use of electronic devices. One can easily lose documents or have trouble finding them in a large number of other documents that are stored at home. Also, there is no way to check the maintenance work history of a second-hand device and therefore, know its actual condition," said Tom, the founder of Materico. "We want to do society a favor and create a way to use one's electronic appliances in a convenient, reliant and secure manner. Finally, we realized that we have a responsibility to create a system that would help to save the Earth. Transferring all electronic related documents to our system will drastically decrease the number of trees cut down for the production of paper. Forests are essential for Earth. Therefore we must also encourage people to safely dispose of old appliances and reward them for it. By doing so, we will make the society more responsible, engaged and, thus, the Earth cleaner," said Tom. According to Tom, the idea to create a system where you can register ownership and store all electronic device's records came after taking all those problems into account. The system allows the user to complete all device-related tasks – from manufacturing to its disposal. With a single click on Materico platform application, you can find a list of all your electronic devices and its documents stored on the system. You can see when warranty or insurance commenced and when it will end for all of your electronic devices. Materico users will be able to access and use the documents whenever they need, and they will also find videos on how to use or fix the appliances, exchange information with other users and even trade. This platform will connect all users of electronic devices in order to make using them even more easy. The founders of Materico are on the mission. One of them is to help change the laws that would prohibit the printing of excessive documents and consequently reduce the harm done to the ecosystem by paper manufacturing. "We are working together with Baltic states governments and European parliament to make changes to the legislation.
