Hutchison PLLC Welcomes Attorney Dora A. Misciagna

Dora plans to focus her practice on mergers and acquisitions, tax and corporate law. Before joining Hutchison, Dora was a manager in the mergers and acquisitions tax group of Ernst & Young's Charlotte office, where she advised corporate and private equity clients with respect to the U.S. federal income tax consequences associated with domestic and international transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and post-transaction and internal restructuring. Prior to her time at Ernst & Young, Dora practiced at Hunter, Smith & Davis, LLP in Northeast Tennessee, where she focused on corporate and commercial transactional matters across a variety of industries, including healthcare, banking and real estate.

Dora earned her B.A., summa cum laude, in Spanish and her B.B.A., summa cum laude, in Finance from East Tennessee State University. Her law degree, cum laude, is from The University of Tennessee College of Law and her L.L.M. in Taxation is from The University of Florida Levin College of Law.
