National Black Marathoners Association and Leslie Jordan, Inc. Forms a Two-Year Partnership
DALLAS - May 29, 2018 - PRLog -- The National Black Marathoners Association (NBMA) is pleased to announce our two-year partnership with Leslie Jordan, Inc. as our Official Apparel Partner. This includes being a 2018 and 2019 NBMA Summit Sponsor at the Baltimore Running Festival and Little Rock Marathon Summits, respectively.
Tony Reed, NBMA Executive Director, says, "This is an exciting and welcomed partnership. The 2019 Summit will be our fifteen-year anniversary. The National Black Distance Running Hall of Fame and Achievements Awards Banquet will be in Little Rock. World class, elite, and history making runners, as well as Boston, seven continents, and 50 States ultramarathon, marathon, and half marathon finishers are recognized."
Reed says, "More Black Americans are becoming distance runners. This has led to increases in Black race organizers, race directors, and Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) Certified Running Coaches. The partnership provides our event organizers with a major source for running apparel and accessories. With over thirty years of custom manufacturing experience, Leslie Jordan can easily fulfill the needs for a variety of events."
According to Leslie Jordan, Company Founder, "What an honor to partner with The National Black Marathoners' Association in support of encouraging men and women, young and old to pursue a healthier lifestyle; and to recognize the achievements and strides made in the Black American running community. We are excited about meeting Club Organizers and Event Directors to share the benefit of our 32 years' experience in performance and lifestyle apparel; as well as to learn more about NBMA. Leslie Jordan apparel and accessories are designed to work with every athlete's lifestyle. Every individual wearing a custom designed Leslie Jordan brand item for NBMA helps get the word out even more!"
