Dr. Pérez is the CEO of Foresight Strategies Group and Academy. Dr. Pérez will speak on the theme of "Women in Business Marching into a Sustainable Future." "As a futurist, what I talk about is how to position your business and yourself for the future," she says. "This is not something typically spoken, but it is a critical piece of business." Conference highlights include a panel of women entrepreneurs who will showcase their best business practices and tools for success, while a panel of private and government representatives will address resources available to women interested in developing their own business or in need of additional resources to reach their full potential. Panel speakers to include Quenia Abreu, President and CEO of the New York Women's Chamber of Commerce, TV Personality, Author and Chef Daisy Martínez, Sandra Morales Deleon, Deputy Director for Union Settlement's Business Development Center, Dr. Georgina Falu, President and CEO of the Falu Foundation, Maribel González, longtime proprietor of the South of France Restaurant in the Bronx, Rachel Calderón, Creative Media Strategist and CEO of AARKS Digital Designs, Flora Montes, CEO/Founder of Bronx Fashion Week, and Yvette Martínez, CEO and President at One World Arts and Artistic Director for Retumba, an all-female music ensemble. Marlene Peralta, host and producer of the Prospecto Latino TV Show, and artist Mia Román Hernández will moderate the panels of discussion. Other Conference highlights include a women entrepreneur's marketplace, a powerful dramatic dance by artist Xiomara Evans, and Retumba's universal rhythms and resounding music.
