By: United Premier Soccer League Based in Orlando (Fla.), The Institute FC will begin UPSL play in the Southeast Conference Florida Central Division, and host its training and home games at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (700 Victory Way, Kissimmee, FL 34747) in compliance with UPSL's Minimum Standards. United Premier Soccer League Commissioner Yan Skwara said, "The level of passion in Florida for the game continues to impress, and we're pleased to welcome The Institute FC to the UPSL. IdeaSport Soccer Academy was ready to take the next step and The Institute FC will be an advancement from their academy level into a full-time Pro Development team. We wish The Institute FC great success going forward." IdeaSport Soccer Academy provides a holistic approach to soccer education with proven, year-round training and development for youth soccer athletes. By implementing a high level of training and a strong set of core values, IdeaSport strives to create a foundation for its athletes to better prepare them for the future. IdeaSport Soccer Academy Technical Director Fernando Argila said, "Our coaching staff believes that participating in the UPSL will contribute to assisting the member of our academy reach their goals in the sport of soccer, and we feel confident in taking on this challenge. The UPSL allows IdeaSport Academy to create a pathway for our younger players to follow and to look up to as something tangible to achieve as they grow up." IdeaSport Soccer Academy will build a team composed of players ages 15-and-up for year-round training. Through regular competition and a professional training environment, players will integrated into an accelerated development program while increasing their exposure to college coaches and professional clubs. "This new partnership will allow the IdeaSport players to put their skills to the test by competing against more experience opponents and continue their development toward individual potential," Argila said. "The competition element is highlighted by the fact that UPSL follows a promotion/relegation system, and the UPSL also emphasizes one of IdeaSport's core values with their focus on player development."
