New Jersey Nonagenarian Wins The 2018 Home Improvement Dream Giveaway!

Mr. Rohn made a donation to enter the Home Improvement Dream Giveaway on March 5, 2018. Little did he know that after five years of making donations to the great charities supported by Dream Giveaway, he was finally holding the winning ticket! "I give my time to several different charities and I really like the charities that the Dream Giveaway promotions benefit," he said. "I am pleased that in my retirement years I can be some help to the community."
On Wednesday, May 9, 2018, Mr. Rohn received the news via telephone that he had won the 2018 Home Improvement Dream Giveaway. "This is very exciting,"he said. "I have won a couple of things in the past and to have won this is just wonderful."
Mr. Rohn has an MBA degree in accounting. He served as a senior partner at a major accounting firm for many years. After retiring from that, he spent 15 years working in venture capital before retiring from that as well. Mr. Rohn now spends his time writing and just completed his second book, Encounters: Relationships in Conflict, which will be published in July 2018.
New Beginning Children's Homes (NBCH) is a 501(c) 3 provider of family-style long-term residential care with a mission to provide foster children a safe and faith-centered family atmosphere where they can heal, grow, and be loved while working through difficult life issues. In addition to the funding they received, NBCH provided grants to several worthwhile charities, including Honor Flight of West Central Florida, National Guard Educational Foundation, Smile Network International, Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries.
