-- A stone's throw away from the iconic walk of fame in Hollywood, Jaclyn Bradley Palmer's latest song and music video will be featured this year at the "Dances with Film" Festival in Los Angeles, California. On Friday, June 15th, her musical film, LOVE THE BODIES WE'RE IN will have it's world premiere at the Chinese Theater, the iconic cinema famous for showcasing the handprints of legends.
The single shot film, filmed in The Netherlands and directed by Willem Serné, relays the importance of embracing all aspects of life's journey. "People that come in and out of our lives bring with them both beauty and pain," said Palmer, "but it all eventually leads us to where we are meant to be." The song in the video is a single from Palmer's latest EP titiled, "Be it Wild or Poetic," which is available for streaming and download on Spotify and iTunes.
For Palmer, the merging of music and film is of great importance. Her previous music video, a tribute to the victims of gun violence, was an official selection at the 2017 Orlando Film Festival. She and her music have also appeared on programs such as "The Voice of Holland", HGTV's "Househunter's International,"
Vh1's "Breaking Bonaduce," and Bravo's "The Rachel Zoe Project." Locally, her voice and jingle could recently be heard on the Liberty Ford commercial. In 2006, Palmer was listed by Cleveland Magazine as one of the area's Most Interesting People. A proud Lorainite at heart, she has never forgotten where she came from. "Right after the the film festival, I plan to come home and attend the Lorain International Festival", she says, "and nothing beats that!"
