Bryce Resort Celebrates Memorial Day Weekend with Season Opening of Lake Laura

BASYE, Va. - May 22, 2018 - PRLog -- Saturday, May 26 marks the official start of the summer season at Bryce Resort. With the opening of Lake Laura, Summer Tubing, and more, visitors have something to look forward to for everyone in the family.

Lake Laura is the perfect hidden gem to explore this summer. The lake has many activities to check out including a beach area with lounge chairs, kids' swim area, and walking trail. Boat rentals are available with choices of paddle boats, paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, and tubes.

The lake is open to the public and does not require guests to be resort members to visit. Hours of operation are 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. weekdays, and 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. weekends until September 3. Children three and under are free and guests four years and older are $8.00. Season Passes for also available for purchase.

Other summer activities opening for the season include Summer Tubing, Euro Bungee, Rock Climbing, and Castle Bounce. For those looking for a little more adventure, guests can check out Bryce Bike Park featuring beginner to expert trails, and Zipline Adventure - a 90-minute tour with 11 different zip lines.
