Panda Security to Hold Security Summit on the Current Security Environment

LOS ANGELES - May 21, 2018 - PRLog -- Panda Security will be holding a Panda Security Summit in Spain with the fundamental mean to offer an unmistakable and target viewpoint of the present security condition. There will be a speech by Javier Candau (head of Spain's National Cryptologic Center, CCN-CERT) on his view of the Cybersecurity challenges in Spain.

According to Candau, all security dimensions are important for a company, but the confidentiality of certain issues and processes of high worth. Other than the work they must be doing in the areas of cybersecurity, Candau highlights the work being in progress regarding the improvisation in the cybersecurity structures of organizations. He paid emphasis on making the technical staff more qualified through training programs.

Cooperation with the private sector and challenges in 2018

Candau explains that large companies are working with governments to tackle the cyber attacks but for that, it is necessary that they possess confidence. In return, the government has to reinforce the security services that the private sector is providing them. In this way, the companies will be able to share the information related to the type of attacks they face.

On the other hand, the main challenge for the government this year is to provide more services. Candau explains that the CCN-CERT is working on making the exchange platforms, auditing, detection capabilities and training platform more improved. He admits cyber crime having different complexities. These range from cyber crime attacks for financial benefits to theft of information.

Being the head, Candau also underlined that targets are set for the sufficient protection of the country's critical infrastructure against cyber attacks. He realizes that the businesses cannot be separated as they need information from each other. So, he advocates coherent security policies through the vigilance of interconnections.
