By: Thiel College The program is an interdisciplinary collaboration of Thiel's (https://www.thiel.edu/ The health systems degree opens the door for careers that the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has said have higher median salaries such as occupational and physical therapists, physician's assistants or a health service manager. According to the Bureau, those professions all have median salaries of more than $85,000. The program also is designed to provide a seamless transition for students who wish to build on Thiel College's excellent liberal arts base and be considered for admission into accredited nursing programs around the country. "The multi-billion dollar healthcare field will continue to need professionals with the critical thinking skills and academic background that liberal arts colleges provide. The health systems program combines so many of the great qualities of Thiel College," Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College Liz Frombgen, Ph.D., said.
