CuraDebt Goes Beyond Debt Relief; Opens New Scholarship Program
CuraDebt is offering a $500 scholarship to an outstanding student pursuing a course in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields.
According to the National Education Association (NEA),"If the United States is to hold a competitive edge in a rapidly changing global workforce, bolstering the nation's science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) workforce is essential." CuraDebt fully supports this endeavor that is why they want to encourage students to pursue careers in these fields to boost the country's economic success.
To qualify for the scholarship, all applicants must be enrolled in an accredited 4-year university or college located in the United States and is pursuing or intending to pursue a degree in the fields of STEM. Graduating high school seniors with a 3.0 and above GPA,
undergraduate and graduate students are also welcome to apply for the scholarship.
Interested parties must send in a video, essay, or an infographic explaining a unique way to solve the budget deficit through education and empowering our youth. This must be submitted along with a cover letter with the following details: student's name, the college/university of their choice, intended major, graduating year, and a brief explanation on how they plan to use the scholarship and why they should be selected.
