Hampton founded her own integrated communications agency, GreaterWorks! Inc. in 2002 after working nearly 20 years with leading agencies in both advertising and public relations including Ogilvy & Mather, Burson-Marsteller, Noble & Associates and Venuso & Associates.  She determined that her mission would be to create and direct a full-service communications partner for clients whose products and services provide a "greater-good" with the same degree of strategic acumen and experience that she provided to the corporate and national commodity group clients (e.g., Sara Lee, American Dairy Association, Veal Committee of National Livestock & Meat Board, J.R. Simplot, Sterno/Candle Corporation of America, Starbucks, Grandma Maud's, Belgioioso, and more) and) and to do it with Integrity.  Ultimately, GreaterWorks!  Inc.  has served a myriad of clients in corporate and not-for-profit fields, from "food to faith."

As president of GreaterWorks! Inc. she developed and executed marketing and communications leading to the launch and promotion of Kingdom Records, Inc.  earning her both RIAA Gold and Platinum Awards.  Hampton also led marketing and communications planning and implementation for the Let's Talk, Let's Test Foundation, to help negate the impact of HIV/AIDS in the African American community across the State of Illinois. She continued this imperative through leading marketing communications initiatives on behalf of Step Up. Get Tested, AIDS Foundation of Chicago, and South Side Help Center, including development and execution of its stellar campaigns and events.

Her efforts have led to clients being featured on CBS, FOX News, ABC's "Heart and Soul" and in THE CHICAGO DEFENDER, WINDY CITY TIMES, ESSENCE Magazine and more.

For the past six years, Hampton lead the planning and execution of the annual "Heroes in the 'Hood" campaign and awards at DuSable Museum, for her client GO Airport Express, an initiative that promoted and rewarded youth and youth leaders who volunteer to do "good in the hood".

In addition to providing services to aforementioned non-profit clients, Hampton created and implemented multiple initiatives for Demoiselle2Femme (French for "girls to women), including development of its tagline (Helping Girls Become Successful Women) and its rally at Daley Plaza on International Day of the Girl, which included ethnically-diverse women from radio and television, alderwomen and other civic leaders from across the city.

Hampton also has lead faith-based communications initiatives for Valley Kingdom Ministries International, Cornerstone Christian Center, Archbishop William Hudson III and The PowerHouse of Chicago, including television and DVD productions and online presence.

She has been married to Levant Hampton for nearly 30 years, has three daughters, Dr. Camille Clark, Dr. ClauDean Kizart and Cosette Hampton, B.S. Public Policy/Human Rights, University of Chicago and resides on the South Side of Chicago.
