Clearwater at Riverpark Invites Public To Celebrate 25th Anniversary of National Senior Health & Fitness Day
Held the last Wednesday in May, National Senior Health & Fitness Day is the nation's largest annual health and wellness event for older adults. On that day, 100,000 seniors will participate in activities at more than 1,000 locations across the United States. According to the Centers for Disease Control, seniors who participate in physical activity enjoy significant benefits, such as improved mental well-being, reduced risk of disease, better bone health, and increased stamina.
"Clearwater at RiverPark was designed around the principles of successful and healthy aging. Our Empowered Living program reflects how our residents live – active and engaged," said Troy Byington, executive director for Clearwater at RiverPark.
