Follow on Google News | Scuele, a Blifase collection that takes inspiration from school chairsBy: Blu Wom The project by the designers Giorgia Zanellato and Daniele Bortotto is composed of chair, stackable chair, armchair, lounge, stool and sofa. The name "Scuele", which in Friulano - the dialect spoken in Friuli Venezia Giulia - means "school", is an explicit reference to the territory in which Blifase operates. Indeed, the company has been using wood to produce seats with a unique design since 1963. This family is characterized by distinctive details, such as the curved rear leg, the back that envelops the section and the upholstered armrests. Furthermore, the rounded shapes of the structure in beech wood give a naive and playful aspect, clearly recalling the world of the little ones. All details give a marked iconicity to the design.
