Educogym Moorgate celebrate results of their clients during London 2018 marathon
The marathon that took place in London almost a month ago seems like the distant past, but educogym Moorgate are still celebrating their clients successes.
Previous to the marathon taking place, there was a planned DLR strike that would have caused mayhem for the public on the day. The DLR runs from Lewisham to Bank and is a major connection for educogym Moorgate to get around London to observe the Marathon. "Thankfully it was called off last minute, I think we all appreciate why the staff were planning on striking but on a weekend that thousands of people have been preparing for for weeks, as well as all the money raised for charity, it would be unfair to strike trains and leaving runners late for the marathon and spectators unable to keep up with the person they are watching and supporting, so I'm very happy the strike is was called off" explained Godfrey nurse, educogym Moorgate personal trainer.
The marathon is a very popular event in London, thousands of people run for charity, in memory of someone, or just for a way to push themselves to limits they could never have imagined. "At educogym Moorgate we are obviously into fitness. So we do get excited about events like these, especially when they are on our doorstep, also having a client in our gyms training for the marathon was great as we were able to help support him, and push him with both his fitness and his diet!" said Sanj Bains, educogym Moorgate personal trainer.
