Middle School Students Spread Campus-Wide Joy with The Good Cards App and Happiness Missions

PALO ALTO, Calif. - May 15, 2018 - PRLog -- The Good Cards, the digital platform that promotes kindness through an app designed for gaming fun, is partnering with schools around the US to help develop the "kindness leaders of tomorrow" by leveraging the The Good Cards fun mobile app. Gorzycki Middle School in Austin, TX, completed the first successful middle school pilot of The Good Cards, for Good Deeds Day in April.

Better World International worked with Gorzycki Middle School and Technology teacher, Jon Howard, to organize the first pilot project of The Good Cards at a middle school.  The campaign was organized as a student project, within the school's PAL program, which has a mission to prepare and enable students to use their leadership, academic knowledge, and critical thinking skills, to address school-based needs. The PAL program students used The Good Cards for their Kindness Project "Share Your Heart," in the spirit of Good Deeds Day on April 15, 2018.

"The Good Cards project at Gorzycki Middle School demonstrates that we don't need to just participate in 'kindness by coincidence,' rather it can be an activity that we regularly participate in," Mr. Howard said. "Sometimes the little things go unnoticed, but being involved in a program like this one opens up opportunity for change to oneself and others."
