Quality education at affordable Fees Aim driven JMA Pilani Celebrates Vishwa Kavi Tagore Jayanti

PILANI, India - May 8, 2018 - PRLog -- JMA Pilani indeed has a rich tradition of observing various days of national and international significance. Principal Mrs Booma Natarajan gave a brief biography of Tagore and reiterated that it is indeed a matter of pride that the national anthems of India "Jana Gana Mana" as well as Bangladesh "Amar Sona Bangla" were penned by Tagore. No one has doubt that even though Tagore wrote in Bengali, all his works had universal appeal.

Miss Khushi Gurah Class XI student recited the Tagore poem Where the Mind is without Fear from Gitanjali thus awakening the minds of one and all. Miss Sanjana Kole Class 6 sang and Mr Neeraj Parihar Class 12 played on keyboard the all time famous Tagore song "Ekla Chalo Re" and took the students and teachers together on an emotional journey.

When the celebrations ended with the singing of National anthem, the students and teachers of JMA who attended the function left with beaming faces and pride that they were indeed part of an institution which is a shining jewel in the crown among the schools at Pilani.
