Mexico City's Newest Bed and Breakfast Offers Cantina-to-Cantina Experience
Stay two-nights at La Palomilla Bed and Breakfast and drink your way from one authentic cantina to the next with traditional drinks, history, and culture; plus a meal at your final destination
By: La Palomilla Bed and Breakfast
"Guests are always asking us where to go that serves real Mexican flavor," said Alessandra Pérez-Cirera, owner/innkeeper of La Palomilla in Roma Norte, one of the hippest and safest neighborhoods in the City. "So, we've chosen the most representative and historic cantinas and mapped it out so guests can drink their ways from one to the next and end with a traditional meal."
The cantinas, also known as local traditional bars, are within walking distance. Guests will meet their guide at a set meeting point then visit four cantinas in total and have dinner at the last one. At each cantina, guests will have ample time to stay and enjoy a drink and the ambiance.
The Cantina Time package includes:
-A two-night stay at La Palomilla Bed and Breakfast
-Homemade organic breakfast using locally-sourced ingredients
-Group walking tour from cantina-to-cantina one night for two people
-One drink per person at each cantina
-Traditional Mexican meal at the last cantina
This package is available the months of June through August 2018. Package costs start at $426 plus tax based on double-occupancy and varies based on room rate and length of stay; a minimum two night reservation is required.
