Veterans Village Instant Built Tiny House Heads to National Hardware Show

LAS VEGAS - May 7, 2018 - PRLog -- On Monday, May 7, 2018 the Veterans Village Instant Built Tiny House will make its way from Downtown Las Vegas to the Las Vegas Convention Center via the Las Vegas Strip to be highlighted at the National Hardware Show in conjunction with Operation Tiny Home as one of the emerging trends in tiny and container home living while raising awareness for the need of stable housing for our United States Veterans.

The National Hardware Show will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from Tuesday, May 8, 2018 to Thursday, May 10, 2018.

During NHS, Operation Tiny Home will be making a $25,000 donation to Veterans Village, Las Vegas—a local organization whose mission is to create and provide safe housing units for U.S. veterans. Veterans

Village also provides an array of services to help veterans, including medical and mental health services, employment training, nutrition programs and more.

On Tuesday, May 8, Tiny House Nation host Zack Giffin and the Operation Tiny Home team will lead a workshop for local veteran's teaching them skills in furniture design and construction. Workshop participants will work together to build custom furnishings for a container home as part of a comprehensive housing solution to support our homeless, displaced and disadvantaged United States Veterans to successfully transition back into civilian life.

Wednesday, May 9th through Thursday, May 10th, attendees are invited to walk through the finished Container home. This home will be the first of eleven (11) to provide stability for transitioning veterans in Las Vegas.
