RALEIGH, N.C. - May 4, 2018 - PRLog -- The International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation & Learning (INACSL) is pleased to announce the release of the official translation of the INACSL Standards of Best Practice: SimulationSM into Japanese, Korean and Mandarin with more translations to come in 2018.

"The release of the official translations of the INACSL Standards of Best Practice: SimulationSM is an important milestone for our organization. It is our goal to provide rigorously developed and evidence-based resources to the simulation community and the official, peer-reviewed translations will create increased accessibility of this important information to members and non-members globally," said INACSL President Kristina Thomas Dreifuerst PhD, RN, CNE, ANEF.

Focus on the translation of the INACSL Standards of Best Practice: SimulationSM is reflected in the organization's vision as global leader in transforming practice to improve patient safety through excellence in healthcare simulation. INACSL will contribute to the global advancement of healthcare simulation through additional translations of the Standards of Best Practice: Simulation, including Portuguese and Spanish.

"This is an exciting time for INACSL as we make great strides towards our global vision for expanding the use of healthcare simulation for education. We anticipate continuing to develop the translations of the  Standards of Best Practice: SimulationSM and other international offerings into additional languages in 2018 and beyond," said the INACSL VP for International Affairs Leslie Graham, RN, MN, CNCC, CHSE.

The INACSL Standards of Best Practice: SimulationSM provide educators, clinicians and researchers with best practices to design, conduct and evaluate simulation-based experiences. The INACSL Standards of Best Practice: Simulation include practice standards in the following areas: Simulation Design, Outcomes and Objectives, Facilitation, Debriefing, Participant Evaluation, Professional Integrity, Simulation-Enhanced Interprofessional Education (IPE), and Simulation Operations (SimOps).
